Handicap Certification

In order to benefit from one or several advantages laid down by the Belgian law related to disabled children, the handicap must be certified at first.

This certification is issued by the medical service of the Directorate General for Disabled People of the FPS Social Security.

An expertise will be done so as to determine if the child meets the medical requirements allowing him to benefit from increased family allowances or if social and tax advantages can be granted.
