We saw that all legal dispositions do not cover all needs. Schools in hospitals have reduced staffing. They are not always able to consider its teachers moving too far.
Medical health care insurances do not intervene in cases that are too heavy. But there are associations that can help your sick child. Feel free to contact social workers from the social service of the hospital as they are the usual contacts between you and such organizations.

The EHD (Ecole à l'Hôpital et à Domicile ASBL) is the non-profit making organisation Hospital and Home Schooling. It provides hotlines, email addresses and its website is www.ehd.be. Antennes in Brussels and provinces (province of Brabant Wallon, Hainaut, Limburg, Luxembourg, Namur and Flanders) in collaboration with VZW 2 “School in ziekenhuis” (School in hospital) in Gent and "School na ziekenhuis" (School after hospital) in Antwerp.
The non-profit-making organisation Take Off offers young patients hardware and Internet connections, which are necessary for distance education.
