Schools of type 5 do not correct exams and do not issue diplomas
The schools in the hospital and home schooling do not submit their students for exams and tests allowing them to obtain a diploma. Their role is to maintain and restore the child's grade level in case it has been lost due to illness and define a ‘project’ with him. This project can be a successful achievement during a quarter or a year at school, prepare the students to pass the exams at the central school board (jury central), prepare the students to pass the acceptance exams in a college, etc. The projects are as varied as the students who will be accepted into education of type 5.
These special academic moments and the maturity gained by the children will often turn them into responsible students. A high percentage of them meet their goals successfully. However, although some schools are in hospitals (in collaboration with the regular children's school) so as to help them pass exams and tests during their hospitalization and/or convalescence, the regular school of these children remains the only diploma issuing authority.
