Making the young patient feels he is a student whether he is sick, convalescent or injured.
Getting the young patient to practice an intellectual activity in accordance with his potentialities of the moment.
Set up the means allowing the young patient to follow home schooling if necessary.
Participate in the "health education”.
Continue the curriculum of the young patient’s school so as to limit the risk of school failure.
Participate in the multidisciplinary management therapy and educational with activities and personalized learning strategies (stimulation, evaluation, rehabilitation).
Give way to young patient to make him take a more decisive role in his own development ("to be the actor").
Keep the bond with the young patient’s school and the outside world.
Assist the young patient to help him restore his image, recover his self-esteem and the respect for himself.
Provide relevant factors in assessing deficits and potentials in a young patient.
Work towards a clear awareness of the difficulties in the development of a realistic personal project, which will help the young patient to be stimulated and allow him to take care of himself.
